Alarm Permits

The City of Everman Alarm Ordinance is now being enforced. Each residence and business in the City, that has an alarm, whether monitored by an alarm company or local, must now obtain an alarm permit. Alarm Permits may be obtained at the Everman Police Station, 404 W. Enon. There is an annual fee of $20.00 for the permit. Alarm Permits may be obtained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Failure to obtain the required permit will result in a fine of $50.00. Under this ordinance, an alarm holder is allowed 5 false alarms within a 12-month period with no consequences. Any additional alarms above this number may also result in the assessment of a fine, and/or revocation of the permit.
